Zonal Sales Manager- South

About the role:

We are looking for an entrepreneurial sales and marketing leader to join our fast-growing global sales team. The Zonal Sales Manager is responsible for expanding our business in South India by activating and driving sales through Greenlight's expansive partner sales channels in the region. The ZSM works closely with partners' management to lead Greenlight's on-ground, field support team to execute activation, training and field engagement programs to accelerate performance of the partners' front line sellers. The Zonal Sales Manager works as an entrepreneur, determining company objectives and partner priorities and applying strategic initiative to achieve common goals.


Key responsibilities: 

1)Manage relationships with senior leadership and middle management at partner organizations. Solve problems, motivate, and establish himself/herself as a trusted adviser

2)Lead the field support team comprising of Regional Sales Manager, Area Managers and Area Executives to accelerate partners' on-ground performance through local activation, training and problem-solving activities. 

3)As new channel partnerships emerge, work closely with the partner's management and Greenlight's teams to rapidly drive activation plans and execution.

4)Develop, implement and drive incentive plans for various levels at the partner organizations to increase sales

5)Coordinate with Greenlight's operations, marketing and finance teams to serve partner needs 

6)Plan and forecast sales in tandem with the partner organizations

7)Represent the company at various events to increase the pipeline of partners

8)Use salesforce for a data driven approach to manage teams and partners

9)Implement tracking mechanism for the field teams through the Sun King application

10)Deliver on aggressive growth and revenue target.

The ideal candidate for Zonal Sales Manager:

1)Is mission-driven, entrepreneurial and passionate about making a significant difference in the world 

2)Has 3+ years’ experience in sales and developing distribution channels in rural markets

3)Experience in financial inclusion, product management or cross selling from SFBs /BCs.

4)Can speak fluent Tamil and Kannada.

5)Has a strong record of consistently exceeding sales targets and a passion for being involved with big, game-changing enterprises

6)Is skilled in maintaining long-term relationships and assessing forward-looking ways to grow and support business partnerships

7)Enjoys the challenge of working creatively and independently with a fast-growing global enterprise

8)Likes getting hands on and is willing to spend 10-15 days a month on the road interacting with resellers, customers and partners

9)Is a natural people-person, one that thrives off of building strong relationships both within the and outside organization.
